I’m SO excited to be back at CityArts for their 11th annual Dia de los Muertos & Monster Factory Exhibit! This year, I’ll be sharing my triptych ‘Aleera’. My motivation for the piece "Aleera" comes from the movie "Van Helsing". She is beautiful, terrifying….. unnatural... I wanted to convey her unearthly and insatiable appetite for human blood, as well as her marked stare. She is ready to claim her prey! Come see her in person- The show runs through November 8th and features incredible artwork from local Orlando artists in the Dia de los Muertos or Monster theme!
